EMDR: A Powerful Transformational Tool

EMDR does not simply treat clients; it heals and often transforms in a lasting way. The transformative work of EMDR changes clients into the people they are supposed to be by dismantling core negative beliefs, such as “I’m not good enough,” “I don’t matter,” “It’s my fault/I’m to blame.” Clients often feel when completing EMDR that their mind, body, heart and soul are in complete alignment.

EMDR assists people to function better by dismantling their core negative beliefs. EMDR removes blocks that prevent us from performing optimally. We all carry baggage, easily identified by our negative blocking beliefs. These beliefs create a map or schema for our life and are often the source of our suffering and struggles.

EMDR For Performance Enhancement

EMDR can be effectively used for performance enhancement by targeting:

  • Past experiences where you did not perform as you would have liked to

  • Life experiences that lessened your confidence

  • Past negative messages

  • Current symptoms and feelings that prevent you from focusing

  • Any other barriers that keep you from working or performing up to your potential.
